দেশ বাঁচাও গণমঞ্চ — পরবর্তীতে যা দেশ বাঁচাও গণ চেতনা সমিতি নামেও পরিচিত হয় — পথচলা শুরু করে ২০২৪ সালের ২৭ ফেব্রুয়ারি। সাম্প্রদায়িক ও ফ্যাসিবাদী শক্তির বিরুদ্ধে ঐক্যবদ্ধ লড়াইয়ের আহ্বান জানিয়ে, ২০২৪ সালের লোকসভা নির্বাচনের প্রাক্কালে বিভিন্ন মত ও পথের মানুষ একত্রিত হয়েছিলেন। আজও সেই লক্ষ্যকে সামনে রেখেই তারা এগিয়ে চলেছে। এই সময় কালে দেশ বাঁচাও গণমঞ্চ ধারাবাহিক কর্মসূচির মাধ্যমে সমাজের নানা শ্রেণির মানুষের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করতে সক্ষম হয়েছে। সাম্প্রদায়িক শক্তির বিরুদ্ধে নিরলস লড়াইয়ের পাশাপাশি, সংগঠনটি অসৎ রাজনৈতিক উদ্দেশ্যে রাজ্যে বিশৃঙ্খলা সৃষ্টির চেষ্টার বিরুদ্ধেও দৃঢ় অবস্থান নিয়েছে। একই সঙ্গে, এই মঞ্চ সমাজের বঞ্চিত ও অবহেলিত মানুষের পাশে থেকে তাদের দাবি ও বক্তব্য তুলে ধরেছে সর্বসমক্ষে।দেশ বাঁচাও গণমঞ্চ কোনও বিশেষ রাজনৈতিক দলের হয়ে নয়, বরং গণতন্ত্র এবং ধর্মনিরপেক্ষতার স্বার্থে স্বতন্ত্র একটি সামাজিক সংগঠন হিসেবেই কাজ করেছে। এটি গণতন্ত্র, ধর্মনিরপেক্ষতা ও মানবিক মূল্যবোধের পক্ষে এক স্বতন্ত্র সামাজিক আন্দোলন — যা মানুষের ঐক্য, ন্যায় ও সমতার আদর্শে বিশ্বাসী। এর পাশাপাশি, দেশ বাঁচাও গণ মঞ্চ, প্রকৃতি, পরিবেশ ও প্রাণীকুলের কল্যাণের স্বার্থে সর্বদা সদর্থক ভূমিকা পালন করে এসেছে। সমাজে শান্তি প্রতিষ্ঠা, প্রগতিশীল চিন্তার প্রসার এবং সামাজিক বৈষম্য দূরীকরণের লক্ষ্যে ঐক্যবদ্ধ হয়ে কাজ করেছে। সম্প্রীতি, সৌভ্রাতৃত্ব ও সৌজন্যের পরিবেশ রক্ষার লক্ষ্যে, মানবতার স্বার্থে জনজাগরণের জন্য নিরলসভাবে পরিশ্রম করতে এই সংগঠন প্রতিজ্ঞাবদ্ধ।
About Us:
Desh Bachao Gono Mancho (Save the Nation People’s Forum) — later also known as Desh Banchao Gono Chetana Samiti — began its journey on 27th February 2024. Formed with a call to unite against communal and fascist forces, it brought together people from diverse ideologies and walks of life on the eve of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Even today, the organization continues to move forward with that same vision and commitment.Over time, Desh Bachao Gono Mancho has successfully drawn the attention of people from various sections of society through its consistent social programs and campaigns. Alongside its relentless struggle against communal forces, the organization has taken a firm stand against any attempt to create unrest in the state for dishonest political purposes. At the same time, it has stood by the marginalized and neglected sections of society, amplifying their voices in the public sphere.Desh Bachao Gono Mancho does not serve any particular political party; rather, it functions as an independent social organization committed to the principles of democracy and secularism. It is a people’s movement upholding the values of democracy, secularism, and human dignity, guided by the ideals of unity, justice, and equality.In addition, the organization actively contributes to the protection of nature, the environment, and all living beings. It works collectively to promote peace in society, encourage progressive thought, and eliminate social inequality. Above all, it remains dedicated to fostering harmony, brotherhood, and mutual respect, and strives tirelessly to raise public awareness in the service of humanity.
